Dashboard

The Desktop App Dashboard gives you a real-time overview of your worker's status and earnings.

Sections​

Connection status​

The top bar shows whether your worker is Connected (green dot) or Offline (gray dot). It also displays your hardware info (chip type and RAM).

System​

Shows your machine's hardware details:

  • Chip — your CPU/SoC (e.g., Apple M4, Intel i9-13900K)
  • GPU — the GPU being used for inference
  • OS — operating system and version
  • RAM — total system memory

AI Rental​

Toggle to enable or disable GPU sharing:

  • On — your GPU accepts inference jobs and earns money
  • Off — your worker is paused, no jobs are accepted

Turning off AI Rental mid-job may deduct credits from the user and affect your $GENKAKU rewards. Only toggle when no jobs are running.

GPU Usage​

Shows real-time GPU utilization:

  • Progress bar — current GPU load
  • Ollama status — whether Ollama is running
  • tok/s — your current token generation speed

Higher tok/s means faster responses and more earnings.

Earnings​

  • USDC Income — total USDC earned from completed jobs
  • $GENKAKU Rewards — total $GENKAKU tokens earned
  • Jobs Completed — number of inference jobs processed

$GENKAKU Market​

Shows the current $GENKAKU token price and a 24-hour mini chart. This is the market value of your $GENKAKU rewards.

Ollama​

Shows Ollama's status:

  • Running — Ollama is active and ready to process jobs
  • Installed, not running — click Start to launch Ollama
  • Not installed — click the link to download from ollama.com

Connect / Disconnect​

  • Connect & Start Earning — connects to the orchestrator and starts accepting jobs
  • Disconnect — stops accepting new jobs and disconnects from the server

Teaching Assistant​

Opens a local AI chat panel. This connects to your local Ollama instance and lets you chat with the AI model running on your own GPU — no internet required.

Token indicator​

Below the token input banner (or when a token is configured), you'll see:

  • Token configured (green dot) — a valid token is set and ready
  • Reset — click to clear the current token and enter a new one

Tips​

  • Keep the app open and in focus for maximum earnings
  • Check the tok/s reading — if it drops, your GPU may be throttled
  • The Dashboard refreshes automatically every few seconds
  • You can close the Teaching Assistant without affecting worker operation
